Hán Sēn felt a chill and hugged Bǎoér tightly as he checked his body; apart from some exhaustion in his breath, there were no other abnormalities.
As Hán Sēn followed the goblet, it slowly floated forward. He was able to follow even if he were an ordinary person. However, as they moved, Hán Sēn couldn't help but feel suspicious since he remembered that the direction the goblet was floating towards should lead into a dead-end tunnel.
But despite moving for several miles, he didn’t run into any walls and still couldn’t see where those walls were within the area illuminated by the goblet. The sides of the cave remained hidden in darkness as though they were being watched by countless unseen eyes.
Suddenly, Hán Sēn saw a faint light ahead, like an exit to a tunnel.
As the goblet floated closer, he found that this was indeed an exit and couldn't help but feel relieved.
Although the exit was within reach, Hán Sēn still didn’t know what lay beyond until he stepped out and the world became clear before him.
Bǎoér looked around curiously, clearly amazed by her surroundings.
They were actually underwater, with clear water flowing nearby. Hán Sēn touched the water, feeling its coolness and flow, it was real water, not an illusion.
But this water surrounded them as if a vast sky above, but didn’t fall down. It seemed like an invisible wall had isolated the water outside, leaving a circular stone platform inside made of gray stones.
The platform was empty of any altars, only three statues were there. Each statue looked different, yet strangely similar.
One statue on the left side resembled a mermaid with fish tails, while another to the right was human-legged and fish-headed, looking extremely strange. The middle one was the most peculiar; it seemed like a humanoid figure, but its body was covered in scales, and there were even fins on its back.
The goblet floated slowly above the left statue, and the blood flames fell down, instantly igniting the mermaid-like statue.
Inside the blood flames, the statue seemed to come alive, opening its eyes and rising up. It emanated a terrifying aura that was not inferior to superbestial beings.
Hán Sēn stared at the statue with a frown as it transformed into a living creature and walked down from the platform. Its tail part turned completely red, covered in blood-colored scales.
A mermaid with red hair held her hands in front of her lips and blew gently. Instantly, red bubbles flew out and headed towards Hán Sēn.
Hán Sēn didn’t dare to be careless and summoned Rebellious Knight and Little Angel. The Rebellious Knight’s aura spread a layer of fine blue lightning around them.
¡Boom!
Without hesitation, the Rebellious Knight punched the front red bubble, shattering it into pieces.
