Sin embargo, cuando se enfrentaban a Hawks y Celtics, los Knicks parecían desvalidos, perdiendo prácticamente sin ninguna posibilidad. This phenomenon was related to their team lineup.
The Knicks' weakness lay in their interior play, making them wary of teams strong inside.
Cavaliers had Shaq and Zan, both aging big men, who could sometimes struggle against David Lee.
On the other hand, Magic's interior defense featured Howard and Lewis, whose significant disparity between abilities and salaries made them a challenge.Cavaliers' aging big men like Shaq and Zan were often too old to handle players like David Lee.
Magic faced another issue with their overpaid star, Lewis, who was not known for his scoring ability despite his large contract.
While Howard had the title of current No.
1 center, he wasn't a high scorer, which meant Knicks could exploit their formidable outside shooting and deep bench against these teams.Wu preferred to face Magic;Orlando's interior defense presented many challenges but were also the most efficient team in the league this season, leading the NBA in two-point field goal percentage suppression.
However, Knicks didn’t fear it too much since their offense relied heavily on outside shots and fast transitions, which could be advantageous against Magic. Moreover, Lewis' contract left little room for Magic to bolster their bench strength;aside from Howard, finding players who could single-handedly change the game was difficult.
Carter's decline over the year made him less suitable as a star player, and with Neilson always playing backup in the playoffs, Knicks might exploit Howard’s scoring limitations, aiming to restrict his points to around 30.On March 17 after defeating the Celtics, the Knicks returned to New York.
They had been on a five-game road trip for over a week, and it was good to have a break.
The team allowed players some time with their families.
Taylor Swift left New York recently and was currently in Los Angeles doing commercial work.
Cole Murray had also been sent back to LA before the Knicks’ current tour.
This meant Wu could spend his day at Christian’s apartment.Christian had no new movies scheduled, so she had been staying in New York.
When Wu arrived on the second day, he found not only Christian but Emma Watson as well, who was studying in New York."Strange, aren't you supposed to be at school? What university gives you a chance to come home anytime?" Wu entered Christian's apartment and immediately smelled something familiar."You're allowed to ask such questions!" Emma had flour all over her face.
She was busy mixing meat filling when he came in.Wu looked around but couldn't find Christian, so he took off his coat by the door and checked it out;what she was doing looked like dumpling fillings."Is that for dumplings?Where is Christian?" Wu had never seen Emma cook before, which made him curious now.Emma took off her gloves and pushed a plate of meat filling towards him.
"She's right there.
I've already turned this into dumplings."Wu wasn't in the mood to deal with her and went straight to the bathroom while saying, "Why would Christian want to make dumplings?Let me wash my hands first;you don’t want to turn dumplings into buns.""Chinese cuisine is only simple when making dumplings." Wu washed his hands and came out.
